Information We Collect

When you use ResumeAtlas, we collect information you provide directly, such as your resume content, job descriptions, and account details when you sign in with Google. We use this to provide ATS scoring, optimization, and related services.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data to analyze resumes against job descriptions, provide improvement suggestions, process payments, and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Security

We store data securely and use industry-standard practices. Resume and job description content is processed to deliver our services and is retained only as necessary for your account and support.

Chrome Extension

The ResumeAtlas Chrome extension (JD Match & Tailor) sends the same kind of data described above — your resume text, the job description text, and your account's Google sign-in details — to ResumeAtlas's own servers to run the analysis or tailoring you request. It never sends this data to the job board you're viewing, and it never uses it to train third-party AI models.

On job board pages (LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, and Ashby), the extension reads the job posting's text only when you click its own "grab job description" or "grab job title" controls, or reads text you've manually selected on the page — it does not read any other page content, and it does not track your browsing history.

The extension stores your resume text, in-progress analysis state, and your signed-in session locally in your browser (via chrome.storage.local) so your work isn't lost when you close and reopen it; this local data is not accessible to us or to any website. Signing in uses Google OAuth; we receive your email address and basic profile information to associate your analyses and purchased credits with your account. Payment is processed by Razorpay on a resumeatlas.io web page — the extension itself never handles your card details.
