About ResumeAtlas
ResumeAtlas is an apply-readiness platform for job seekers — know before you apply. Paste a resume and a specific job posting and get an Application Verdict (Apply, Optimize First, or Skip), the critical reasons you could be screened out, your shortlist odds, and free AI optimization for that job with no login. It is also one place for the whole resume problem: build from a free ATS template or from scratch, convert an existing resume to ATS format, sharpen every section with AI, tailor it to the posting, and download an ATS-ready PDF or DOCX.
The problem we work on
Most applications are rejected before a person reads them — by an applicant tracking system that could not parse the layout, or by a screen that found the wrong keywords and not enough proof. Job seekers apply blind: they submit, wait, and never learn why a resume did not move forward. ResumeAtlas exists to answer the question before you apply — is this resume ready for this job, and if not, what specifically gets it rejected.

How the pricing works
Every tool is free to use — no signup, no subscription. You pay one-time, per tool, only when you download the finished file: $1.99 to download a converted or template resume, a $2.99 five-job pack for job-specific downloads, $4.99 for a built resume. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. Compared with a monthly subscription that keeps billing for as long as you are job-hunting, it is a fraction of the cost.
How the scoring works
Signals are grouped into gates — machine ingestion, posting vocabulary and hard requirements, fit and proof in bullet points, recruiter skim and claim defensibility. Recommendations stay inside what your experience can defend in an interview; when a posting demands a skill you do not have, a gap flag is a valid outcome, not a suggested lie. Who builds it
ResumeAtlas launched in 2026 and is built and run by Deepika N, a solo developer whose background is in GenAI and data-science architecture. Its scoring model draws on patterns across more than a thousand real resume analyses. ResumeAtlas is independent — no outside funding, and no affiliation with any employer, applicant tracking system vendor, or the academic paper of a similar name (arXiv 2406.18125).
